Lesley’s NSC Saddles, fleeceworks, and saddle fitting have been a very important part in my passion to train my horses. I believe the horses we have been breeding are becoming more sensitive than ever before and it is even more important to make them comfortable in their equipment. Euros has been a challenging horse to bring along for this very reason. At times it handcuffs his ability to move well. He very much chose the NSC saddle himself…. his belly would almost drag on the ground in a saddle he didn’t like even if it fit well. Lesley also quickly recognized he didn’t like his saddle to fit closely, but a fleece pad with a looser fit was better … and his sensitive skin preferred the fleece girth that was cut back.

As the year comes to an end, I would like to say thank you to my sponsor, NSC Saddles and Lesley McGill. Working equitation is a demanding sport and NSC saddles and sheepskin gear have kept Cortez protected and performing at his best. I love riding Flash in this lovely NSC saddle. When we had our accident in September of 2019 his saddle was broken in the fall and had to be sent away for repairs. I thought it would never be the same.
